The Student Cabinet, administered by Student Leadership and Multicultural Programs, represent the student body by serving on key campus committees that shape policy and procedures impacting all students. Currently, Student Cabinet members serve on 14 committees across campus.
Work study and part-time hourly students are selected by the hiring committee each Spring to attend meetings, bringing the student perspective on campus-wide issues, and reporting back to the Cabinet which meets weekly to discuss the work of their committees. Sharing information helps identify common concerns, initiatives and efforts of various committees, thus promoting and deepening cross-campus collaboration.
