Join or Start a Club Today!

Did you know there are lots of student-run clubs on campus?  Joining a club can really enrich the experience of being a student at NSC, and it always looks good on your résumé or university application.  Click here to check out a list of current clubs.  If there isn't a club on campus that you like--start your own!

Research indicates that becoming involved on campus, joining a student club, participating in student leadership and/or getting involved in volunteer opportunities, increases student success and graduation rates.  Most importantly, the social rewards of getting involved can last a lifetime!

Clubs can:

  • enrich your academic experience as you network with other students to learn more about your field(s) of study
  • help you meet other people who enjoy the same hobbies that interest you, so that you can learn more about them and enjoy them together
  • allow you to work with other students on social issues that concern you
  • provide a place where you might meet people who understand your experiences and with whom you can relax and feel at home.
  • be extremely rewarding as they are an instant, ready-made social network with other students and advisors devoted to those things that are interesting to you

Stop into the Student Leadership office to find out more about clubs! You can browse established clubs or find out how to form your own club and meet others who are interested in joining.  Come see how you can help build our community here at North!
