Sustainability Board (SB)

The Sustainability Board, administered by Student Leadership and Multicultural Programs in conjunction with the Office of Sustainability, implements projects and organizes events that strive to make our campus community more environmentally viable and socially equitable.

Projects and events typically align with one of the following nine thematic categories:

  1. Built Environment
  2. Energy
  3. Water
  4. Grounds/Wetlands
  5. Food
  6. Waste/Recycling/Compost
  7. Transportation
  8. Purchasing
  9. Air & Climate

Past campus and community outreach projects include the installation of a campus bike repair station, a solar array on the Education Building, electric vehicle charging stations, and the Licton Springs P-Patch Garden. Events have included sustainability-related movie presentations, earth day symposiums and waste audits.
