Looking to get involved with Student Leadership?
Here are a few ways to engage on campus:
Start or join a club! This is one of the best ways to make friends, learn new skills, and hear about other opportunities offered by Student Leadership.
Sign up to be a volunteer. Stop by our office to pick up a volunteer form and to learn more about this opportunity.
Attend a conference! This gives you professional experience, exposure to new ideas, and a fun trip for free. Apply to attend the Students of Color Conference (3 days in April) or Queer I Am (2 days in October).
Hang out in the Student Leadership office (CC1446). Attend some of the board meeting to learn more about what each board does which, by the way, is an excellent way of gaining experience if you want to apply for a job in the spring.
Read our blog to keep informed about the work we are doing and what’s happening on campus.
Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and check our event calendar frequently to learn about upcoming events and opportunities. Attending or volunteering at events is a great way to meet new people and connect with a community of support here at North.
Check the bulletin boards around campus and screens in the Grove for info about upcoming events!
